reciever crest I have a picture of a crest but am unable to figure out how to add it, could use some advise.

Bill, it's free.........go sign up at www.photobucket.com to host your pics. clk "Browse" and your Pic files on your PC comes up. clk on the pic and then clk load.........then just C&P the image tag to your post.
You can do some test tries at the bottom of the forum index in the testing forum. Let me know if you need some more help.

mauser crest same rifle just learning
Any info on this reciever would be appreciated, I got it in a package of 10 old mausers, it is the best one of the bunch.

That's a Brazilian M954 and was chambered in 30-06. Great action for a build!

My M38 Swede 6.5 x 55 custom build in process..... Here are the pics.........
it has a crown stamped on every component...I used to have many years ago a M96 Swede did not have these crowns stamped anywhere.....
I find it interesting.....any comments...

CRESTS Not a Mauser but a Manlicher style 88. I posted it to show the similiarity of the same crest stamped on Mausers.
