Mauser Central received a kit from Thomas at Rhineland Arms. This build was just completed a few days ago. Its a vz24 action , I thinned and trimmed the original stock to keep a military look to this project, KG gunkote's gunmetal blue finish, Huber Trigger, Timney Safety, with Rhineland Arms mag adapter and E.R Shaw barrel kit, Simmons 8pt 3x9 glass. I bore sighted it and at 125yrds it was putting big vent holes in a 10'' round tree...it was too cold to shoot much so 6rds is all thats been through her yet, but its sweet as sugar the funnest shootin mauser I own hands down.....i'm in love ! I highly recommend building one of these !

Craig I. says. This is a Yugo M48 that I purchased at Dunham's Sporting goods in Michigan for $79.95 and it was in good condition but the stock was a little rough. I cut the military stock & filled the serial number, misc. holes and all manor of nicks & chips with automotive bondo. It is painted olive drab with a satin clear coat. It has had the front site removed, the barrel shortened and crowned. The rear site has been removed. I have added a ATI scope mount, tall weaver rings & a Simmons 3-9x50 scope. I have also added a cheek rest from ATI to the stock and one of those cheap slip on recoil pads. The bolt handle has been fitted with the ATI bolt handle kit to clear the scope. The gun currently has the original trigger, barrel, action & safety. All total not counting my time I have invested under $200.00 dollars in this entire project including the case I keep it in.Thank you very much for your web site, I truly enjoyed visiting it
