Mike, from F.AC. says, This is my 98k Gewehr rework restored to original
style w/ new barrel, and stock and handguard from FAC Gunsnstuff. It
took about 8-9 hours to fit the metal to the wood (at a methodical pace,
and hand tools), and another 2-3 for finishing. I used cherry stain
and satin polyurethane spay for the finish.

Casey Says- My project is finally done, here are its specs:
Action: Mauser M48
Barrel: Schilen stainless #3 match grade in 7mm-08
Stock: Richard's Micro-fit Monte Carlo black laminate
Scope: Swift 3-9x40
Rings: Warne quick release
Bolt handle was turned down, action bead blasted and matte blued, and
a timney delux trigger installed.

Richard M says- I just finished this rhineland arms conversion on a
vz-24. The stock is my own custom, lighten the trigger pull, drilled
and tap the receiver, added a red dot and blued the barrel. Thanks for
a great site.

Jeff H. Says- Here is a VZ24 action I picked up for my son. I put an
Adams&Bennett 24" bull barrel in .308Win and put this in a
Fajen Walking Ace Varminter Stock that I used Arrow'd wood finish to
finsih with. I put on a commercial hinged floor plate and a Sunny Hill
bolt shroud. I also cut the handle off the bolt and replaced it with
a Wheeler handle that is finished with Lauer's flat black paint. I jeweled
the bolt as well as the extractor and put on a Bold optima trigger set
at 3 1/2 lbs. The first day out, it shot a 15 shot group at around 1
1/2". It took around 30 shots to get to smooth out. I hope in the
coming months it gets even better.
