This pic is from Dave '' shorthair'' he was the second guy to send me a picture for this gallery its the Swede backon page 1 of this Gallery. Dave say's-I just finished another one, a VZ-24 in .35 Whelan. It has a Bold trigger, an Adams and Bennett barrel, a Brownell bolt handle, and a Boyd's JRS walnut stock. Still in the white, I intend to matte black oxide finish it. It shoots 210 grain Nosler Ballistic Tips into about an inch at 100 yards, though I intend to use Partitions, of course, for hunting. Still a great page! big thanks for the kind words Dave, check out our forum if ya get a chance !

Matt say's--I was inspired by all of the photos and projects in your gallery. Not one to just sit around while others were having all the fun, I built a .308 Winchester rifle out of a VZ-24 action. It features a Bell and Carlson stock with pillar bedding. It has a custom welded replacement bolt handle, Free floated Parker Hale 26 inch barrel, Bold Trigger with safety, replacement streamlined bolt shroud from Brownells, Leupold one piece scope base, no scope yet. I couldn't wait to get one before I sent you the pics.:^). Stock is painted with Krylon flat camoflage colored paints in Brown, Sand, Black and OD Green, sealed with polyurethane. Matt
