Layton R. Say's.. I'm a Medic in the US Air Force stationed in Germany. This is an Argentine Mauser chambered for 7X64 Brenneke.
It has a removable/swing scope mount with high vis iron sights.
A set/2 way trigger--push forward for the hair trigger or don't push
and just pull. Boyd's Thumbhole stock. Nice 56mm Nikon scope for
hunting Wild Boar at night. I'm installing a Model 70 style safety on it
as soon as I can win one on Ebay! A couple more rifles in the works.
More to come.

This is a M98 VZ24 Mauser that I built for bench / long range varmint sniping. 22.250 Rem. A&B F54 barrel, bead blasted and matt finished, action squared, lugs lapped, recontured tang & trigger guard, glass bed in a Richards Marksman camo laminate stock. Hand finished chambered tight, jewled bolt with forged handle, bold trigger, topped with leupold rings and base. BSA Platinum 6-24 X 44 target mil-dot. After a barrel break in the groups tightened up quite nicely! At .176" @ 100yrds. Loads are custom made but factory ammo will group under 1" @ 100yrds M.O.A. Gunsmithing

This is my model 98 mauser that my grandfather brought back from WWII. My grandfathers brother had already sporterized it quite a few years ago. I took it alittle further and had a turned down bolt handle and MKII safety put on so i could mount a scope on it. I refinished the original stock and added some memorial brass plates to honor my grandfather and his service to our country. Hope you enjoy. sincerely, Jason R

6.5 X 55 Swedish. Built on a commercial Husqvarna small ring action. New old stock M94 carbine barrel. N.O.S. bolt, cut and welded. Timney safety and trigger. Bushnell 3x9x40 scope on a Redfield one piece base with Leupold rings.Bishop Mannlicher stock with 6 coats of hand rubbed tung oil. Uncle Mikes flush mount swivels with an el-cheapo Midway sling. Prints nice groups with milsurp for a full stock. I haven't worked up a hunting load for it yet. Wayne
