Robert D. says it's a 1916 ERFURT small ring mauser, with an adams & bennett f34  6.5X55 swede mauser. new bolt handle, richard's stock claro walnut with feather.  scope is bushnell 3-9X40. note: when doing a small ring mauser never exceed 45,000 PSI, the receiver won't handle the pressure.

Rey F , says- Hey guys whats up, these are my favorite mausers that I have built for myself I have been building mauser for only 2 years but I think im doing ok so far the first mauser pic is is a black heavy barreled 7mm-08 I wanted a tactical rifle that could reach out so I went with this calibre it has an adams and bennet barrel and is fed by a gibbs rifle magazine I steel bedded the action into a bell and carlson tactical stock it will outshoot any remy pss out there. The second is my truck gun built on a VZ24 action this thing is sweet I welded on a dakota bolt handle and put on a parker rifle hinged floorplate and a .270 wilson barrel. The third is my pride and joy it started as an all numbers matching mexican small ring 98 I had a savage 110 barrel rethreaded and rechambered to .308 win put on it. I put on a XS ghost ring sight on the rear and a fiber optic sight on the barrel ther was no way I was going to drill the mexican crest on this rifle!!.The last one is an all numbers matching erfurd made model 98 I picked up on gunbroker some guy bubba'ed the hell out of it and I gave it a good home and made her pretty again it is in the original 8 mauser a very nice gun.
