One of Dave Huff's Mausers. This rifle was built on a VZ-24 with a Douglas
28 inch med/hvy contour. It's chambered in 25-06 and is set in a grade
5F Black Walnut thumbhole from the Harry Lawson Co. The floorplate was
replaced with a Parker Hale aluminum trapdoor, the shroud was replaced
with a streamlined shroud like those found on the Mark X's. I installed
a Timney Featherweight Deluxe trigger. I used Weaver bases and Burris
Zee rings with a Leupold Vari X 3 8.5x25 scope. It too shoots sub 1/4
MOA 3 shot @ 100 yards.

Another rifle from Dave Huff. This rifle is built on a VZ-24 action with
a 28 inch stainless Douglas barrel with a muzzle diameter of .825"
It's chambered in 6mil-06. The barreled action is set in an Exhibition
English Walnut thumbhole stock from the Harry Lawson Co, in Tuscon AZ.
It has Leupold base and rings with a Leupold 6x18 Vari X 2 scope. Timney
Featherweight Deluxe trigger on it and a streamlined bolt shroud. I customized
a military floorplate by welding in the lock screw holes, conturing the
triggerguard and refinished using Brownells stainless Teflon / Moly baking
laquer. The gun tops out at about 15 pounds, and shoots sub 1/4 MOA 3
shot @ 100 yards. Velocities are pushing the 4800 fps mark. Note the rifle
is called the "Crown Jewel" due to the action, bolt and extractor
being jeweled

These are two Of Dave Huffs Interarms Mark X's that he built up as prototype
walking rifles. The coffee color stocked rifle is chambered in 22-250
Ackley Improved, with a 22 inch featherweight barrel. It uses a Timney
Featherweight Deluxe trigger. No accuracy testing has been done yet, due
to it is the dead of winter in his area.
The second in the midnight stocked rifle is chambered in 30-06 also with
a 22 inch featherweight barrel. It has a Bold Optima trigger.
Both feature a Fajen Ace Varminter benchrest stock that has been skeletonized
as much as possible to reduce weight. Both right now weigh around 5 pounds
minus scope. Both are very pleasent to shoot, Dave says he's shot them
several times to test the stocks for strength, and they are holding up
fine.
